This is a 5.5m diameter geodesic pod that will be used for off-grid living. The finished cladding is Western Red Cedar for durability with 3 layers of waterproofing to ensure a dry dome. We are also custom making the interior for this geodesic dome home which will have a mezzanine floor, shower/toilet room and a small area for cooking.

Geodesic Dome Pod

This is an undercoat before the waterproof membrane and Western Red Cedar was added to the geodesic dome pod. If you are not wanting the cladding your dome can be painted in a heavy waterproof paint for a different but still watertight seal.

Custom interior designed and built for this pod included a spiral staircase going to a mezzanine floor, toilet and shower room and a kitchen area. Power provided by a 12v solar system to make the pod off-grid.
